Summary:

The master's thesis deals with the operation of Radio Televizija Slovenija (RTV SLO), the Slovenian national radio and television company, particularly with the way in which the programme production plan is prepared and with the sequence of activities leading up to the realisation of the programme. The thesis focuses on the planning and management of television projects, with an emphasis on projects that are filmed with multiple cameras in the field and with the help of reporting vehicles. The thesis presents the structure of a production team in an Anglo-American production environment and the way a project is conceived, prepared and executed at RTVSLO. Finally, the implementation of the TV drama project Veselko, co-produced by RTVSLO and the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television of the University of Ljubljana(UL AGRFT), will be presented.
