| Summary: | The documentary deals with questions of human transience and the meaning of »preparations« for passing away that take place daily in a Hospice house. The »House of Open Arms« is open to patients with chronic illnesses without hope of recovery, who are treated by a team of selfless experts and volunteers. With their work they create an opportunity for a dignified and compassionate acceptance of death as a necessary part of human life. |
