Summary:

Three young boys launch a toy boat painted Soviet red. It quickly attracts the attention of a Western battleship but manages to elude its destructive technologies with the help of friendly fishermen, desert nomads and African tribesmen. The buoyantly animated fable celebrates the symbolic power of the Soviet Union: communism's proud little ship may require protection but its "message of a happy life" ensures a safe passage. (IMDb)
