Summary:

The film is based on a poem for children by Sergei Mihalkov. A rich American woman dies and leaves a million dollars to her beloved bulldog. The theme is that in America, money can buy everything. The bulldog eventually becomes rich and powerful and becomes a member of the U.S. Congress.
