| Summary: | Anna Yiu writes, that Funeral is based on her childhood memories. When she was very young, about 6-7 years old, it was her first time participating in a Chinese funeral, which was her great-grandfather’s funeral. She asked her parents a question during his funeral: “Where does Great-Grandpa go?” Her mother said that he was just sleeping. Her mother did not explain to her directly what death is. She was conscious of death when I was growing up. |
