| Summary: | Aljoša Ţerjal is a Slovenian enthusiast filmmaker from Trieste. He made his first short film »The Carneval« (Slovene: Pust) with a 8-milimeter black and white film camera in 1954 in Trieste, but today he uses digital technology to shoot and edit his films. During his many years of filmmaking he travelled the world and witnessed major environmental and societal changes in his home region. With Aljoša and his films we experience the almost forgotten cultural heritage of his birth village – Škedenj (Italian: Servola) which is a part of the city of Trieste today. |
