Summary:

Wigi is an elderly man who seems to be searching for music in everything he does. A stroke he has suffered recently destroyed nearly half of his brain, and he also lost all memory of the last thirty or forty years of his life, as he says. He lives in a modest attic apartment with his partner Saša, whom he met years ago when she happened to lend him a flute after his was stolen during a performance. After a short flute performance under the Trnovo Bridge, Wigi and Saša drive to a wooden cabin in the Ljubljana Marshes to visit their friend Tanja, where they are joined by Boštjan Gombač and Lado Jakša, both professional instrumentalists. Wigi is distressed when faced with music theory, which also worries Saša. While tuning musical instruments, Wigi reveals a memory of his abusive father Albert, a renowned Yugoslav choir conductor, who left a deep mark on his childhood and early youth.
