| Summary: | It is Christmas on January 7th. Milutin’s home is raided by the police and Milutin is arrested because he doesn’t have any legal documents proving his identity although he has been living in Slovenia for 40 years.
We learn that he was one of the people that were illegally erased from the register by the Slovenian government in 1992.
We follow the story from three viewpoints. First from his son’s, who doesn’t fully understand his father’s circumstances, second from Milutin’s, whom we see remembering endless quarrels with his (now absent) older son about what he should do about his status; and finally from the viewpoint of the young police officer Matjaž who is interrogating Milutin and can’t wait to get home from the job that he hates.
